Ingredients
  • 24 oz. frozen meatballs
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tblsp. rice vinegar
  • 2 Tblsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 Tblsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce, optional
  • sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced thin
Instructions
  1. ♦ Put frozen meatballs in your crockpot.
    ♦ In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar and ginger.
    ♦ Warm the sauce in the micro wave and add ‘heat’ to taste.
    ♦ Pour sauce over the meatballs. Gently toss to coat meatballs with sauce.
    ♦ Cook on LOW for 2-3 hours, carefully stirring after an hour.
    ♦ Tip the lid the last 20 minutes, if needed, to thicken the sauce.
    ♦ Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion.
    ♦ Serve!
