Ingredients
Fish Fry
  • 1/2-3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • ¼ tsp. lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of Cayenne
Kitty's Tartar Sauce
  • 2/3 cup Kraft Mayo
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tblsp. finely chopped onion
  • 4 Tblsp. sweet pickle relish
  • ¼ tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • fresh parsley
Instructions
Fish Fry
  1. ♦ In a shallow bowl, mix flour and seasonings.
    ♦ Slowly mix in wet ingredients.
    ♦ Pat fish dry.
    ♦ Pour the oil into a large heavy bottom pan, 1-2" and heat over medium high heat.
  2. ♦ Sprinkle some plain flour on a plate and dredge fillets in flour.
    ♦ Dip fillets in batter, letting excess drip off a bit.
  3. ♦ Fry in hot oil, should sizzle when first drops hit the pan.
  4. ♦ Cook fish until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
    ♦ Transfer fried fish to a plate covered in paper towels.
  5. ♦ Serve immediately with Kitty’s Tartar Sauce.
Kitty's Tartar Sauce
  1. ♦ Mix well and chill.
    ♦ Refrigerate in air tight container.
