Help for the Homeless

Central Wisconsin

Northeast Wisconsin

2016 Final total: $300,000 worth of hygiene supplies

donated at 806 employers, churches, schools and stores for

82 Crisis Programs in 14 Communities... THANK YOU!

$2 MILLION worth donated since 2008!

"A gentleman came to our pantry today looking a but scruffy. He quietly asked if we had razors and shaving cream. When we told him we did, he actually jumped with excitement! He went on to say that he has an interview tomorrow that he wanted to "clean up" for, but didn't have these things at home or the money to buy them because he's been without work for a while. Every little bit counts for those in need. Thank you, we couldn't do it without you!" Nan Pahl, Salvation Army   More stories

What:

The Family’s ‘Help for the Homeless’ hygiene drive works together with area homeless coalitions to stock the shelves of homeless and crisis programs in their Northeast and Central Wisconsin listening areas. The goal of Help for the Homeless is to supply a year’s worth of product to each agency (In many cases, this is happening!).  Donations remain in the communities where they are collected.
